Āroham is a free mobile app designed for UGC NET aspirants in Ancient Indian History & Culture (AIHC) and Archaeology. It covers quizzes, study material on pottery, coins, inscriptions, iconography, maps of historical sites, Panchang, and much more.

Is Āroham completely free?

Yes — all core features are completely free. There is no paywall. Āroham runs on voluntary donations from users who wish to support the project. You can donate any amount you feel comfortable with from within the app.

How do I create an account?

Open the app and tap "Sign In". You can log in with your Google account for quick access, or register with your email address and a password. A verification email will be sent to confirm your address.

My quiz progress isn't saving. What should I do?

Make sure you are signed in to your account. Quiz progress syncs to your profile when you are connected to the internet. Check your internet connection and try restarting the app. If the issue persists, contact us.

How do I change the app theme?

Go to Settings (accessible from the home screen) and tap "Theme". Āroham offers 12 unique themes inspired by Indian heritage — Thar, Tamra, Kumkum, and more — each with a light and dark variant.

How do I bookmark study material?

On any study card (pottery, coins, inscriptions, etc.), tap the bookmark icon to save it. Your bookmarks are synced to your account and accessible from the Bookmarks section in the menu.

Yes. Āroham uses Google Firebase for authentication and data storage, which follows industry-standard security practices. We do not share your personal information with third parties. Your email and name are used only to manage your account.
